Why are your Photos and video so important?

Why are your Photos and Narrated video so important?

These days, most people start their property search online.

Your photos and video are the potential 'Buyers - First Impression' of your home and will likely determine whether they decide to view, or not.

Our favourite tips

Sometimes the smallest things make the most difference. Here are a few of our favourite tips to get your home picture perfect and ready for market

Let there be light - Make sure all curtains and blinds are open fully to let in the most light. Consider adding mood and task lighting to each room to make it feel welcoming and cosy

De-Clutter – Store the clutter out of sight. For example, hide the cleaning products and remove toiletries from around the sink or bath.

Try replacing everyday products with some luxury brands; just for the photo shoot and following viewings

'Top Tip' – Remove personal items that identify you or your family to the property (Think identity theft)

Fresh flowers – Display them to match the style of your home. Try a large dramatic display or a series of small posies.

A bowl of fresh fruit looks good too (Apples lemons & limes work well)

Cushions & Throws - Layer plump cushions on your sofa and beds and don’t forget a beautiful, matching throw.

Mix up your fabrics; silks & velvets give the feeling of luxury

Towels & Linen - Fluffy new towels & crisp ironed  sheets create an inviting atmosphere and can warm the pallet of a white room

Outside Space – Every garden can be inviting. Try adding hanging baskets 'in bloom' and some twinkling tea-lights.

It's always a good idea ensure your garden is clutter free and try parking your car out of the way
